Amazing!!! Among the best southern food I have ever had in a restaurant. The flavors of everything were incredible. The fried steak melted like butter in your mouth, the scrambled eggs were a fluffy delight, and the seasoned potatoes went perfectly with it all. The shrimp and grits was so savory and the fried eggs were cooked perfectly!!! Was not expecting such a big glass of sweet tea which was also good. Next time I go I want to try more things because everything sounded so good but it will be hard to beat what already tried. There is a wide variety of options both savory and sweet (even some more healthy options).

2024 Update:Still great! My wife loved the eggs benedict and my pork chops were lightly breaded, juicy, and good flavor. Coffee is good and staff is great!Nice decor that handles the noise really well. They were busy this morning but the noise was NOT drowning out our conversation.2021/2022:Very good! Best chicken and waffle I've ever had. I absolutely loved the gravy. Gravy can be too heavy and theirs was just right. Check it out!

Really good breakfast diner find! The waffle was super soft and sausage patty very flavorful! Breakfast burrito was very good but a bit small. Will definitely return when in the mood for that small town diner food!

Delicious, home cooked food! Our server Monica was so sweet and friendly. The only negative I can say (and this is really petty) is please put paper towels in your bathroom. I don’t like washing my hands and then having to touch the doorknob with wet hands.

Love Southern Taste! Delicious food, wonderful staff! Never had a bad experience, love their breakfast, chicken livers, catfish, cheeseburgers, and cabbage.

I stumbled upon this restaurant because First Watch had a 45 minute wait. No thank you. My friend and I love this place. We were very skeptical at first. It’s like a family style local diner. The women who work there are so friendly and the service is wonderful and fast. Lots of great options. Cute inside. No long waits. Food is great and the prices are great too. Excellent breakfast spot. We are going back again today!My new breakfast spot!
